Community Advisory Council
Do you have health
care experience or a specific interest in the health care
sector? Are you passionate about transforming the health care
experience?
Trillium Health
Centre is looking for representatives for its Community Advisory
Council
Community Advisory Council (CAC) volunteer
members provide vital community input and advice on Trillium’s
programs and services, and strategic directions. As an advisor
for one of Canada’s largest and busiest community hospitals,
your participation will make a profound impact on the way
Canadians experience health care.
We are currently inviting applications
for positions on the CAC, which is a sub-committee of the
Board of Directors.
Applicants should
meet the following criteria:
- Live or work in Trillium’s primary catchment area
of Mississauga and Toronto’s south Etobicoke community
- Have a commitment to, and interest in, helping to represent
community interests
- Be available for an expected time commitment of six (6)
scheduled meetings starting in October 2006.
Successful applicants
will sit on the CAC for a term of one year.
Note: In the event there are more
qualified applicants than there are positions, opportunities
may arise during the year for community members to become
involved in CAC-directed task groups or focus groups.
