Our Strategic Plan
Operational Excellence
Trillium Health Centre enjoys a longstanding reputation for operational and clinical excellence. During a time when many Ontario hospitals have struggled with financial pressures, bed shortages, staffing shortages, and service reductions, we have managed to grow and expand our services, recruit and retain highly skilled employees and physicians, invest in state-of-the-art technologies, upgrade aging facilities, and effectively manage our financial resources.
We know how important it is that we make the most of the limited human and financial resources entrusted to us so that we can continue to deliver quality health care services to our community. We will set best practices in effectiveness and efficiency within a framework of accountability, sustainability and stewardship.
Operational Excellence means that:
- Our financial plan is sustainable and provides for the investments needed to allow us to deliver superior patient outcomes
- We effectively and efficiently align our strategies, people and technology supported by best practices
- We respond to and are responsible for the allocation of the resources entrusted to us
We will:
- Realize new sustainable sources of revenue
- Develop the leadership capacity and competency to effectively manage resource allocation
- Deliver current and future capital projects on time and on budget with minimal disruption to programs and service delivery
