Quality by Design
When we talk about quality at Trillium Health Centre, it’s more than a word. It’s a promise of excellence in everything that we do from how patients experience the services we provide to how we recruit and retain staff. It’s not what we do, but how we do it that will define us as a quality organization.
Quality by Design means that:
- We set leading standards for safe, high quality care and service delivery
- We achieve superior outcomes for our patients while continually seeking improvements in care
- We are known and recommended for the best care experience
We will:
- Develop and implement an organization-wide quality imperative and approach to reduce waste, drive process improvements and redesign across Trillium
- Develop and sustain identified centres of excellence
- Deliver care and services through a culture of humanity and compassion
- Develop and implement an integrated information management system that includes electronic patient records
