The Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Services invite you to participate in a

Basic Wen-Do Course

WEN-DO is an organization dedicated to holding self-defense courses by and for women.

In an environment that recognizes and celebrates diversity, we talk about violence against women and children; breaking down myths and stereotypes about whom, where, and why assault and abuse happens, increasing our AWARENESS and confidence to AVOID potentially dangerous situations, and finally gaining physical skills to ACT to protect ourselves. Girls 10 years and up, and women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, learn common sense, easy to remember self defense techniques. We discuss strategies that address outdoor and indoor safety.
