Mayor McCallion’s 88th Birthday Party and official sign unveiling ceremony for the Hazel McCallion Centre for Heart Health
Mississauga/West Toronto – Members of the media are invited to attend Mayor McCallion’s 88th birthday party and the unveiling of the Hazel McCallion Centre for Hearth Health signage at Trillium Health Centre - Mississauga on Valentine’s Day.
Mayor Hazel McCallion and dignitaries will unveil the new signage and pose for photographs, then proceed inside for the birthday celebration featuring an honour review and singing of Happy Birthday to the Mayor by the ‘Heart and Soulz’ choir from Hazel McCallion Senior Public School.

In lieu of gifts, donations can be made to the I Heart Hazel campaign in support of the Hazel McCallion Centre for Heart Health.
Party attendance is by invitation only, due to space considerations at the health centre. Trillium staff and other invited guests will convene in the cafeteria to celebrate the Mayor’s 88th birthday.
About the I Heart Hazel Campaign
On November 19, 88 days before Mayor McCallion’s 88th birthday, Trillium Health Centre Foundation issued a challenge to the communities of Mississauga, West Toronto and the surrounding area to honour a leader and health care champion with a donation to the Hazel McCallion Centre for Heart Health, Trillium’s regional advanced cardiac care facility.
