Trillium Health Centre Foundation Welcomes New President and CEO - Steve Hoscheit

Mississauga/West Toronto – Trillium Health Centre Foundation is pleased to welcome Steve Hoscheit, CFRE, as President and CEO of the Trillium Health Centre Foundation effective February 11, 2008.

"We are delighted to have Steve Hoscheit join the Foundation team and we look forward to working with him to continue the success of the Trillium Health Centre Foundation," said Dennis Cartwright, chair of the Foundation's board of directors. "Steve's leadership and vision will inspire the community even further to help provide the tools that make Trillium a world class health centre."

Steve Hoscheit [pronounced "Ho-shay"] joins Trillium directly from the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation (ACHF) in Calgary where he served as president and CEO since 2005.

Prior to his role at ACHF, he held positions of increasing responsibility with Ketchum Canada from 1993 to 2005, developing and managing a range of fundraising campaigns with great success. Steve began his career in fundraising as Director of Development at the University Hospital Foundation in Edmonton.

"Steve brings a wealth of fundraising experience, strategic counsel and enthusiasm to his new role," said Janet Davidson, O.C. president and CEO of Trillium Health Centre.
"I’m sure Steve will lead the foundation to even higher levels of success as the team works with our generous community to help fund excellence in patient care at Trillium. I am very pleased to welcome him to Trillium."
