Trillium Health Centre offers state-of-the-art venue to the community
In renting premier learning facilities, businesses will support community health care
Mississauga-West Toronto – Businesses and community members will now be able to rent Trillium Hall, Trillium Health Centre’s 155-seat auditorium and its adjunct learning laboratory, for seminars, special events or even Annual General Meetings. Funds raised in leasing these state-of-the art facilities will go toward health care programs and services.
Designed to meet the multi-faceted needs of today’s leaders, these learning centre facilities feature a fully-equipped Wi-Fi environment, with interactive whiteboards and videoconferencing services. They also offer full-service, on-site catering. Located just off the QEW, Trillium Hall is within 20 km of Pearson International Airport and only minutes from Mississauga City Centre – making it ideal for meetings with out-of-town guests.
These external rentals will complement the hall’s ongoing purpose to support training and education of Trillium’s health care providers. Trillium will also continue to use it for community education initiatives, such as Health Talks, a series of free seminars focused on specific health-related topics.
The learning centre facilities support the health care centre’s commitment to be an innovative, academically-affiliated organization that fosters a culture of knowledge and learning for its staff, physicians and volunteers. The learning centre was made possible by various donors, most notably Ericsson Canada Inc. and Mentor College/TEAM.
“We are proud to share these premier facilities with businesses, associations and community groups within Mississauga and across the greater Toronto area,” said Scott McLeod, Vice President, Strategy & Business Transformation, Trillium Health Centre.
Rental rates for the facilities are competitively priced and not-for-profit organizations are offered a discount. To learn more or book Trillium Hall for an upcoming function, visit www.trilliumhall.ca or call 905-848-7582.
