Trillium Health Centre is one of Canada’s busiest birthing centres with over 4,400 births each year. The Intensive Care Nursery (ICN) cares for babies born up to eight weeks prematurely, requiring 24-hour observation and highly-specialized care. Over the years, demand for the ICN has grown and with it, the need for expansion and equipment upgrades. Donations raised by the Tour de Bleu will help to create more bedside spaces and comfortable surroundings for parents to sleep, meet with the health care professionals, and interact with their precious newborns.
