Pro-Am Golf Tournament Supports Trillium Breast Cancer Fund

Mississauga, Ontario, August 2002 – On Monday September 9th, twenty-eight teams of avid golfers, joined by Canadian Tour Professionals, will tee off at Credit Valley Golf & Country Club. Trillium Health Centre Foundation's 10th annual Pro-Am will raise in excess of $150,000 for the Trillium Breast Cancer Fund.

Lead sponsor, Scotiabank Group, is proud to be part of the Pro-Am's winning formula and has contributed $35,000 to its success. Scotiabank is committed to the fight against breast cancer and to supporting the communities in which they live and work.

The funds raised at this one-day event will go a long way in helping to establish the Trillium Breast Centre. The Trillium Breast Cancer Fund will provide the financial resources necessary to ensure the best of care is available for our patients and their families living with breast cancer.
