Hospital calendars will help patients

Patients will be the beneficiaries of a new fundraising calendar produced by the Trillium Health Centre and The Mississauga News.
Proceeds from the sale of the glossy 2002 calendars -- which feature colour photographs of Trillium Health Centre's Mississauga and Etobicoke sites and of surgeons and nurses performing their duties -- will go directly to improving the comfort of patients, hospital officials say.

The News' Classified Sales Manager Teresa Deluca said any initiative that supports hospitals is a positive for the community.
Deluca said The News plans to partner with Trillium Health Centre again next year to produce similar calendars for 2003.
