Transportation and Parking

Bus Service

Mississauga Transit makes regular stops at Trillium Health Centre - Mississauga with a stop located on hospital property directly across from the Emergency and Family Care Centres. This stop is serviced by routes 4, 28 and 38. The Mississauga Transit also makes stops at Sherway Gardens located across the street from Trillium - West Toronto via Route 4. The TTC stops at Sherway Gardens located directly across the street from Trillium - West Toronto. Sherway is serviced by routes 15B, 80B and 123A/B. For detailed route information, check out their website at www.toronto.ca/ttc

Taxi

A direct telephone line to taxi service is available in the main lobby at Trillium - Mississauga, and just inside the doors of the Urgent Care Centre entrance at Trillium - West Toronto.

Shuttle Bus

Shuttle BusFor the convenience of staff, visitors and patients, Trillium Health Centre offers a shuttle bus service between the Mississauga and West Toronto locations. The service runs Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can pick up a copy of the bus schedule at the main lobby information desks at each location.

Parking Information

Trillium Health Centre - Mississauga

At Trillium Health Centre - Mississauga, visitor parking is available in a five storey garage and surface lots located on the east and west sides of the building. 

Trillium Health Centre - West Toronto

At Trillium Health Centre - West Toronto, visitor parking is available in the surface lots  on the South (Urgent Care) and East (Main Entrance) sides of the building

Parking Rates
  • $3.00 — per half hour
  • $16.00 — maximum per day
  • $25.00 — day pass
Parking Passes

For frequent users. Trillium Health Centre also offers parking passes in packages of 10, 30 and monthly.

  • $70.00 — 10 use passes
  • $180.00 — 30 use passes
  • $90.00 — Monthly Pass

Daily Maximum charged for lost parking tickets

Why Is There a Fee for Parking?

Parking fees have become an increasingly important source of revenue for hospitals. While government funding is available for the upkeep of the hospital buildings, this does not include parking facilities.
 
Hospitals must generate sufficient funds through parking fees to maintain and supervise parking areas. A portion of parking revenues is also used to help support patient care.

Parking Payment Options                
  1. EXPRESS PAYMENT - Credit Card Only
    1. Insert credit card to enter
    2. Insert same credit card to exit and obtain receipt 
  2. REGULAR PAYMENT- Cash or Credit Card
    1. Push button and obtain ticket
    2. Keep ticket with you at all times
    3. Before exiting, pay at paystation with cash or credit card
    4. Take paid ticket to the exit & follow Instructions (below) 
  3. PAY AT EXIT - Credit Card Only
    1. Push button and obtain ticket
    2. Drive to exit and insert ticket in exit terminal
    3. Insert credit card, obtain receipt to exit 
    Pay stations are located in the lobbies of both locations and at the parking gates
     
  4. PAY AND DISPLAY - Pay with coins or credit card:
    1. Insert payment - If using coins, insert into the coin slot. If using credit card, insert card with stripe down and to the right into the card reader and remove
    2. Press BLUE button to buy time or maximum time
    3. Press GREEN Print Ticket button and wait for ticket to process
    4. Take ticket from slot and display ticket face-up on dashboard with time visible 
    At any time you may use the RED Cancel button to void the time selected and start again. You can also cancel the coin payment and retrieve at coin slot

Keeping Safe in Your Vehicle & Parking Lots
  • Keep your vehicle doors locked
  • Lock any valuables in your trunk
  • Do not leave any items in plain view from windows
  • Have your vehicle keys ready in your hand when walking through parking lots
  • Familiarize yourself with the location of the exit
  • Carry your purse close to you but not wrapped around your neck, shoulder or hand
  • Remember the location and level where you have parked to get to your vehicle quickly
  • Park in well lit sections of a parking lot
