Trillium's Urgent Care Centre at the West Toronto location provides patients access to health care when their family doctor is unavailable and to the treatment of minor health ailments that need to be treated urgently. These ailments can be treated in 60 to 90 minutes and do not need admission to hospital. Patients who arrive at Trillium - West Toronto with serious health problems are stabilized and transferred to the Emergency Centre at Trillium - Mississauga.
Patients arrive at the Urgent Care Centre through their own means of transportation. Ambulances do not bring emergency patients to Trillium - West Toronto.
