Inpatient Units

The acute medical
inpatient units provide patient-centred care with a multi-disciplinary
team. There are a variety of sub-specialties within medicine
including oncology, respirology, gastro-enterology, nephrology,
rheumatology, endocrinology and infectious diseases.
Each year, Trillium's Medical Inpatient
Units care for approximately 7,000 patients with the average
length of stay just over five days. The average age of our
patients is 66 years old.
