TeleMental Health and Addictions Nursing Program

The goal of the TeleMental Health and Addictions Nursing Program is to increase access,
quality and availability of mental health care through consultation via videoconferencing
provided by OTN (Ontario Telemedicine Network). Available to youth, adults and seniors
living in the Mississauga Halton LHIN, the program provides:

• Face to face consultation and follow-up services
• Support, health teaching and referrals to community resources
• Collaborative care planning
• Monitoring of symptoms and assistance with medication adherence
• Psychiatric assessment for diagnostic clarification and treatment planning where indicated
