Neurosciences and Musculoskeletal Services
- A regional stroke centre.
- The first non-teaching hospital to use 'crazy glue' to treat abnormal brain masses.
- Offering a premiere hand therapy program.
Trillium's Neurosciences/Musculoskeletal Health System, or Neuro/MSK Health System, provides the best possible treatment for brain injury and stroke patients, and for patients needing orthopaedic care for back injuries, fractured limbs and conditions due to disease such as arthritis.
As the first Neurosciences program to be located outside a teaching hospital, Trillium is making a name as a leader in innovative, minimally invasive neuro-interventional procedures such as 'crazy glue surgery'.
An assortment of specialized programs and services such as the Spine Centre, Fracture Clinic Rehabilitation, and innovative surgeries, as well as expert staff and physicians, strive to return patients living with orthopaedic pain and disability to as close to their normal routine as possible.
