Orthopaedic Unit

This 25-bed inpatient unit provides tertiary adult orthopaedic
care for patients from Peel, Northern Ontario and Toronto.
Seven orthopaedic surgeons perform knee, hip, and shoulder
replacements, as well as repairs of hip and other fractures.
Complex back surgery including instrumentation and fusions
are also performed. A professional and experienced team of
physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals such as
occupational therapists, physiotherapists and occupational/physiotherapy
assistants care for approximately 1,500 patients a year.
