At Trillium Health
Centre, we know that hand injuries often affect much more
than a person’s hand. Our skilled staff want to support
you in all aspects of your daily life while your hand gets
better. Our psychosocial Occupational Therapist can meet with
you individually to talk about any sort of difficulties a
person may encounter.
Some clients attend our weekly Injured Workers Group, where
there is an opportunity to talk with other clients and a therapist.
It is helpful to realize that you’re not alone in what
you are facing. Others often have helpful information and
tips to share.
We can facilitate referral to community agencies where needed,
for example, English-as-a-second-language classes, food banks,
credit counseling, Alcoholics Anonymous, domestic assault
counseling, etc.
