Pharmaceutical Services
The practice of pharmacy at Trillium Health Centre encompasses
clinical services and distribution services. Clinical services
provided by Pharmacists include the review and evaluation
of medication therapy, monitoring of therapy, and optimization
of therapy in collaboration with other health care professionals.
The Pharmacists also provide information on medications for
patients and their families and for other health care professionals.
Pharmacists work
in the inpatient setting at Trillium - Mississauga and also
with the outpatient programs at Trillium - West Toronto, specifically
the Diabetes Education Centre, the Heart Function Clinic and
the Cardiac Wellness and Rehabilitation Centre.
In addition to Trillium’s
Pharmacy Services, an independent retail pharmacy is available
at Trillium - Mississauga.
