Ambulatory Surgical Services

Trillium Health Centre’s Surgical Program provides comprehensive, sophisticated surgical care.  The West Toronto Surgicentre offers a full range of outpatient surgical services and is the largest free-standing ambulatory centre in North America. 
The Mississauga location provides day surgery and same day admission for more complex surgical procedures.

The Pre-op Centre, at the West Toronto site sees approximately:

• 350 patients for cardiac anesthesia and patient/nursing education
• 3,246 patients for anesthesia examination
• 2,300 patients for anesthesia and nursing education
• 300 patients for cardiac pre-op teaching

The Surgical Clinics at the West Toronto location see approximately 34,000 patients per year.  Services included are:

• All surgical services
• Colposcopy Suite
• Ophthalmology Services
• Hand Clinic
• Wound Management
• Splinting
