Women's Services
Look Good Feel Better Workshops at
Trillium Health Centre
The Look Good Feel
Better program is a national public-service program dedicated
to helping women living with cancer manage the appearance-related
side effects of cancer and its treatment. The premise behind
Look Good Feel Better is that if you look good, chances are
- you do feel better. If a woman can be helped to look good,
or feel a little more like herself again, her improved self-image
can help to put her in a more positive frame of mind to face
her disease.
Trillium Health
Centre is proud to be the 100th workshop location for the
Look Good Feel Better program. The free, two-hour workshops
are currently offered at our Trillium - West Toronto where
women interested in learning how to manage the appearance-related
side effects of cancer and its treatment are provided with
the opportunity to learn make-up tips, hair alternatives,
nail and skin care and cosmetic hygiene. The "hands-on"
workshop experience is delivered by volunteer cosmetic advisors
who generously donate their time and expertise.
